Overview

In this role you will help shape Baker Hughes' IP strategy to protect and advance core energy technology. You will partner with engineering, R&D;, and leadership to manage complex IP matters and commercial agreements in a global, fast-paced environment. You will influence decision-making on patents, licensing, and disputes, contributing to the company’s technology and business objectives. Responsabilità

- Develop and implement IP strategies to support business and technology objectives
- Advise leadership on strategic IP opportunities, risks, and competitive considerations
- Manage IP technology portfolio
- Develop and maintain IP policies, procedures, and best practices
- Handle commercial transactions and licensing, IP disputes, and risk management
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, R&D;,



commercial and executive teams, plus global legal/compliance teams

Requisiti fondamentali

- English at C1 level or better
- Active admission to practice law in at least one European jurisdiction
- Minimum 7 years PQE in IP law
- Minimum 5 years direct experience with technology in engineering/scientific capacity
- Significant experience managing patent portfolios and advising on IP matters
- Significant experience negotiating IP and technology-related contracts
- Strong understanding of patents, trade secrets, copyrights, licensing, and related IP issues
- Experience working with inventors, engineers, and business leaders in tech-driven organizations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment
