We are seeking a highly motivatedHardware Data Management Engineerto support the management, quality, and lifecycle of electronic component data across our hardware development organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining component databases, supporting engineering teams with component selection and qualification activities, performing BOM analysis, and ensuring data integrity within PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
This role requires a strong understanding of electronic components, product lifecycle management processes, and database governance practices to ensure accurate and reliable engineering data throughout the product development lifecycle.
In detail, you will:
Manage and maintain component data withinTeamcenterand corporate component databases.
Performdatabase clean-up, standardization,



and maintenanceactivities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
Review, analyze, and validateBills of Materials (BOMs)to support engineering, procurement, and manufacturing requirements.
Supportelectronic component selection, qualification, and approval processes for new product development projects.
Evaluate and recommendalternate componentsbased on technical, supply chain, cost, and lifecycle considerations.
Drivecomponent engineering activities, including part creation, classification, attribute management, and documentation.
Monitor componentlifecycle status, obsolescence risks, and end-of-life notifications, proposing mitigation strategies when needed.
Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree inElectronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience (from 1 to 5 years) inhardware data management, component engineering, or electronic component management.
Hands-on experience withTeamcenteror similar PLM/PDM platforms.
Strong knowledge ofelectronic components, including semiconductors, passive components, connectors, electromechanical devices, and PCB assemblies.
Experience inBOM review, analysis, and validation.
Knowledge ofcomponent qualificationmethodologies and alternate part assessment processes.
Understanding ofcomponent lifecycle management, obsolescence monitoring, and supply chain considerations.
Familiarity with engineering databases, data governance, and data quality management practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
