FAO Internship Program 2026 (Fully Funded)

Applications are invited for the FAO Internship Program 2026 , a fully funded, paid internship for recent graduates or students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree programmes. The internship will take place at FAO offices or project locations inside the applicant’s country of residence. The programme runs for 3 to 11 months depending on assignment.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is an intergovernmental body headquartered in Rome, Italy, dedicated to eliminating hunger and improving global food security. Candidates may apply from anywhere in the world.

Coverage

- Stipend of approximately $700 per month

Documents Required




- Letter of motivation explaining your interest in FAO and any relevant experience
- Proof of enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate programme, or evidence of recent graduation
- Language proficiency certificate
- Legal proof of residence or citizenship in the country where the internship will take place

Eligibility Criteria
- Degree holder or recent graduate in a relevant field;

- Good command ofone or more of FAO’s official languages (Arabic, English, Chinese, Spanish, French, Russian)
- Age 21 to 30 years old
- Flexible attitude to adapt to a diverse cultural environment
- Strong communication skills
- Competent computer skills
