By experimenting with the thermal transformation of natural minerals, the project will establish correlations between raw materials, preparation processes, firing conditions, and the final products found in ceramic bodies, coatings, and decorations. Mineralogical,



microstructural, and chemical analyses will enable the reconstruction of recipes, technologies, and potential provenances.
