Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an analytical intern to support manufacturing operations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The role involves analyzing dispensing activities, monitoring resource utilization, optimizing material flows, and contributing to digitalization of planning and reporting tools in a sterile manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
Collect, organize and analyze operational data from dispensing activities supporting sterile manufacturing
Monitor preparation lead times, workload distribution and develop performance indicators for efficiency evaluation
Support resource utilization analysis including workforce allocation and capacity planning
Analyze material flows between departments and identify opportunities for process simplification




Review and help digitalize Excel-based tracking tools and develop automated dashboards using Power BI or similar platforms
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed degree in engineering, data science, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools
Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or similar business intelligence platforms preferred
Understanding of manufacturing operations or process improvement concepts
Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
