We are currently recruiting for aItaly Marine Technical Support Junior Engineerto join our office inNapoliwithin theMediterranean and Africa MarineDivision.
Mission
A Marine Technical Engineer in RINA technical support center contribute to maintain maritime safety, environmental standards, and regulatory compliance.
Key Accountabilities
1. Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to shipowners, operators, and clients regarding compliance with classification rules and regulations, as well as general marine engineering and operational issues.
2. Problem Resolution:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to troubleshoot technical issues, recommend solutions, and address any non-compliance or deficiencies identified during inspections.
3. Technical Performance Review:
- Support the maintenance of detailed KPI of surveys, inspections, and technical assessments.
- Assist to prepare reports and data documentation that outline findings, recommendations, and compliance status.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work as part of a team alongside senior engineers, naval architects, and other technical professionals to deliver high-quality technical support and classification services.
5. Safety Awareness:




- Parteciate to the promotion of safety awareness and a culture of safe maritime operations, ensuring that all activities align with industry safety standards.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Naval Engineering
Qualifications
Minimum of 1years of experiencein marine technical support or a similar role within the maritime industry.
Strong understanding ofclassification rules and regulations(e.g., IACS, SOLAS, MARPOL) and their application in marine operations.
Proficient introubleshooting and problem-solvingtechnical issues related to ship operations, machinery, and compliance.
Experience insurveying, inspections, and technical assessments, with the ability to maintain and analyzeKPI data.
Ability to preparedetailed technical reports, document findings, and communicate recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset with experience in working alongsidesenior engineers, naval architects, and other professionals in a team-oriented environment.
A strong focus onsafety standards, promoting safe practices in maritime operations and ensuring compliance with industry safety regulations.
Good communication skillsto interact effectively with clients and colleagues, addressing technical queries and providing clear guidance.
Familiarity withmarine operations, technical performance review, and supportingcompliance auditsand assessments.

Compensation Data
The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria, and responsibilities in accordance withCCNL RINA(CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between€32,000 and €38,000and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
