As Production Manager at Vestas Taranto, you lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while driving continuous improvement.
You'll develop and coach production teams, promote Lean practices, and ensure HSE compliance in a complex manufacturing environment.
You'll collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering to mitigate risks and sustain production continuity.

Responsabilità
Lead production operations to meet the production plan and SQDC KPIs
Coach and develop production teams in line with the Vestas Leadership Model
Drive operational excellence with Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, RCA) and continuous improvement
Ensure health, safety and environment compliance, 5S, permits and escalation of incidents
Optimize workforce planning, competency development,



and qualification management
Oversee KPI reviews, cost control, escalation processes, and budgeting within production
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering to mitigate risks and support projects
Represent the company in work council discussions and participate in site leadership when the Factory Manager is absent
Requisiti fondamentali
Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or industrial operations
Proven people leadership and team management experience
Experience managing performance, productivity, quality, and cost targets
Strong Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge
Experience in a complex, multinational manufacturing environment
Formal leadership training
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (Green Belt with demonstrated delivery also valued)
