OverviewAs Manufacturing Manager for Molding & Extrusion, you will lead a large production organization to meet volume, quality, and efficiency targets within a regulated healthcare manufacturing environment. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration, oversee KPI performance, and champion continuous improvement and safety. This strategic role supports growth initiatives and organizational transformation, shaping production processes and team capability in a global setting.

Responsabilità

Lead the Molding and Extrusion departments to achieve targets for volume, quality, and efficiencyManage a production team of ~70 employees across continuous shiftsCoordinate Production Planning, Quality, Documentation, Shift Leaders, and SupervisorsMonitor KPIs (OEE, scrap rate, productivity, efficiency) and drive improvementsLead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce wasteSupport production planning and ensure alignment with business priorities and demandPromote safety, compliance, accountability, and operational excellenceLead performance management activities (reviews, salary reviews, development, engagement)



and act as People contact in the department with HRDefine roles, responsibilities, and team structures aligned with growth and changeEnsure compliance with Quality Management System, GMPs, and medical device regulations; participate in audits

Requisiti fondamentali

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)Proven experience in Production/Manufacturing Management or similar leadership rolesStrong people management experience in manufacturing environmentsExperience supervising large production teams and shift leadsSolid understanding of production planning, KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience tracking and improving OEE, productivity, efficiency, and scrap reductionAbility to manage organizational complexity and drive change in a dynamic manufacturing settingStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExperience in regulated industries is valued but not mandatoryExposure to injection molding and/or extrusion is a strong plusFluent English (written and spoken)leadershipstakeholder managementcross-functional collaborationproduction planningKPI management (OEE, productivity, scrap)continuous improvement methodologies
