As a
Junior Gas Quantitative Analysis,
you will join Eni's
Global Natural Resources General Management
. Specifically, within Global Portfolio & Trading, you will be placed within the
Global Portfolio & Trading Front Office
structure , where you will contribute to the management and monitoring of assets for the European gas portfolio.
Main activities:
Contribute to the optimal management of portfolio assets, including natural gas supply and sales contracts, storage, transportation capacity
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for hedging financial risk associated with the operation of assets
Participate in the creation of commodity price simulation models for pricing using Monte Carlo methods
Support the analyses required for forecasting, budgeting and medium-term strategic planning activities in coordination with the relevant company functions
Contribute to the representation and monitoring of management operating margins
Participate in ad-hoc analyses on portfolio optimization and trading strategies that take into account market dynamics (volatility, correlations, etc.)
Support the maintenance of software libraries and tools that may require interface and application design.
Required characteristics:
Master's degree preferably in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering
Up to three years of experience preferably in related fields such as: pricing, portfolio optimization, risk management
Knowledge of at least one programming language is appreciated (such as Matlab, Python, R,



VBA)
Good knowledge of the English language
Availability for mobility
