The group spans 10 businesses across 6 countries and 3 continents, including Octopus Energy Retail, Kraken Technologies, Octopus Energy Generation, and Octopus Electric Vehicles.### The roleThe company is looking for a UI/UX Designer to help create excellent, memorable experiences for its customers, turning the complexity of the energy world into simple, intuitive, and empathetic digital interactions. The role is based on-site at the Ancarano/Ascoli Piceno office and is full-time with immediate availability required.### What you would do
* Improve the interface and usability of different areas of the platform, shaping how customers interact with energy services
* Translate product requirements into flows, wireframes, and Figma interfaces, covering states, responsive behaviour, and edge cases, while following Octopus Energy's visual guidelines
* Collaborate on building and maintaining the design system in Figma, including the component library,



interaction patterns, and documentation
* Contribute to the product roadmap and share work from early stages to gather feedback and encourage discussion within the team### What they are looking for
* At least 2 years of professional experience designing digital products
* Proficiency in Figma, used as the primary tool for UI/UX design, prototyping, and visual product reviews
* Solid experience working with design systems, including using, evolving, and managing scalable component libraries
* A good grasp of design process steps, knowing which research or prototyping stages are necessary and which can be streamlined depending on the project
* Ability to work within a structured design system while integrating your own vision with brand guidelines
* A practical, deadline-oriented approach, able to work through complexity while delivering on time
* Fluent English
* Knowledge of Asana, Miro, and Notion is considered a plus### Working arrangementsThe role is fully on-site at the Ancarano/Ascoli Piceno office. Full-time hours. Immediate availability is required.### Pay and benefitsSalary starting from €28,000 per year, adjusted based on experience and skills assessed during the selection process.
