The role We are hiring a Forward Deployed Strategist in Milan. Embedded with our largest clients, you own the Skillvue deployment end-to-end, from the first C-level workshop to measurable ROI. Forward deployed means you work side by side with the client's teams, close to their day-to-day decisions, not behind a ticket queue. You own the account after signature: you lead onboarding and go-live with our technical and psychometric teams, then grow the relationship through retention, renewal and expansion. This is a strategy role, not account management or support. You work with CHROs, HR leaders and business owners of large enterprises and decide with them how skills data changes the way they hire, promote and plan their workforce. You are also the bridge back to Skillvue: what you see in the field shapes our product, our science and our deployment playbook. Expect the role to be half strategy, half execution. You run C-level workshops, and you also run weekly progress meetings, follow up on details and get things live. The team is being built now, so you will help define how we deploy, not just follow a process. What you will own
• Stakeholder engagement. Run kickoffs and C-level workshops, and align HR, business and IT on one deployment roadmap. Lead weekly progress meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Science deployment. Translate the client's strategy and competency framework into skills models, together with our People Science team. Adapt them to roles, levels, countries and languages.
• Technology deployment.



Take the project from signature to go-live: AI interviews and agents integrated into the client's ATS and HR systems. Work with product and engineering, and turn field needs into clear product requirements.
• ROI measurement. Define the KPIs with the client, such as time-to-hire, quality of hire and internal mobility. Measure the impact, build the business case and turn results into renewals and new use cases across business units and countries.
• Playbook building. Turn what works into templates, processes and AI workflows that the next Strategists will use. Who you are
• 3–8 years in strategy consulting, with experience leading client engagements or workstreams end-to-end.
• You have managed several clients across industries, run workshops with senior executives and earned the trust of C-level stakeholders, both external and internal.
• You think in structured problems and numbers, and you are comfortable presenting to a board.
• You are hands-on: as comfortable in a steering committee as when setting up a pilot, writing a spec or digging into data.
• You are at ease with technology: you use AI tools in your daily work and can hold a conversation with engineers about integrations.
• Fluent Italian and fluent English.
• Based in Milan, or ready to move, open to a hybrid setup and to travel to client sites. It's a plus if you have:
• Business development or commercial experience, such as selling projects, answering RFPs or growing an account.
• Entrepreneurial experience, such as founding or joining an early-stage company.
• Experience implementing enterprise platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce) or working in SaaS, AI or HR technology.
• A third language among Spanish, German and French.
