Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Mechanical Fitter to join our team, specializing in service activities across Italy and Europe (occasionally even outside Europe). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting, with a focus on installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires extensive travel, as you will be responsible for on-site service activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position requires the candidate to be avaiable for business travel across Europe and Italy for aproximately 90 to 120 days per year.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment at client sites across Italy and Europe.
- Conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Work closely with engineering teams to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all service activities.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports, checklists, and parts usage.




- Collaborate with the service coordinator to schedule and prioritize service visits, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Continuously improve service processes and techniques, contributing to the development of best practices.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in a senior or lead role.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Italy and Europe, often on short notice (up to 50% of the time)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
- Fluency in English and Italian.

Retribuzione: €30.000,00 - €40.000,00 al mese
