Overview

In this role you will oversee the implementation and governance of purchasing and logistics activities to support ABB's procurement function. You will work across Engineering, Product Management, and procurement teams to drive cost, quality, and supplier reliability in R&D; projects. You will lead procurement gate activities, coordinate project procurement documentation, and promote local sourcing aligned with business strategy. You will also contribute to training, standards, and supplier negotiations to ensure compliant, sustainable sourcing at scale. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on project success and supplier performance.

Responsabilità

- Lead Procurement Gate Model activities and manage project procurement meetings
- Coordinate procurement for Research & Development projects and maintain related documents
- Interface between technology/product management and Business Line Procurement teams
- Execute purchasing and logistics strategies to optimize cost, quality,



and supplier reliability
- Design and implement local sourcing plans to meet business targets
- Apply procurement standards, tools, and processes including supplier negotiations and sustainability compliance

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor in Engineering or related field
- Proven procurement experience with supplier management and R&D; project coordination
- Experience with Brand Labeling, ODM, OEM, JDM, EMS is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills for cost optimization and risk assessment
- Solid Project Management capabilities with Agile Gate Model experience
- Effective negotiation and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Track record in onboarding cost-competitive suppliers
