Position

We are currently seeking an Embedded Software Developer to join our Embedded Software Development team. The candidate will work in a cross competence team and will take care of the development and management of devices used for monitoring systems in the HVAC sector. Responsibilities

- Design, development and maintenance software for embedded Linux targets based on ARM architecture
- Optimize software components to be scalable in different targets
- Improve and manage input/output protocols to retrieve and send information
- Collaborate with team members, with external partners and consultants to improve and evolve the products
- Editing pre-development functional documentation

Requirements

- Experience in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Technologies: Web server, Database (PostgreSQL), RESTfull api, Git
- Practical experience with Linux in particular bash
- Knowledge of automated test framework
- 3+ years of work experience in a similar role




- Degree in Computer Science / Informatic Engineering or similar qualification
- Good English level proficiency, both written and spoken
- Strong teamwork attitude and good communication skills
- Curiosity, willingness to learn and grow
- Share the values of the Carel Culture Code!

CAREL applies the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement "Metalmeccanica Industria". The reference gross annual fixed salary (RAL) range for this position is between €30,000 and €40,000. The overall compensation package will also include:

- Company performance bonus (Premio di Risultato), linked to collective results and subject to applicable favorable tax regulations;
- Additional welfare and benefit programs provided by the company.

The actual compensation offered will be determined on gender-neutral criteria based on the candidate's qualifications, professional experience,
