Alessandra Rich is looking for a Wholesale Area Manager to join our Milan team and support the continued development of our international wholesale business.

The role combines account management, active selling and business development, with responsibility for building strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities to expand the brand’s distribution across international markets.

You will work closely with buyers, internal teams and senior management, taking an active role throughout the seasonal selling campaigns and contributing directly to the commercial development of the business.

Responsibilities

- Manage and develop a portfolio of international wholesale accounts.
- Take an active role in seasonal sales campaigns, presenting collections and supporting clients through the ordering process.
- Identify and develop appropriate new wholesale opportunities across assigned markets.
- Strengthen existing accounts through regular follow-up, reorders and commercial initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, sell-through and product feedback to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Maintain a strong understanding of assigned markets, customers and potential distribution.
- Follow orders in collaboration with customer service, accounts, logistics and production.




- Contribute to showroom preparation, client appointments and the practical organisation of sales campaigns.
- Provide clear market and customer feedback to the wider business.

Profile

We are looking for someone with approximately 3-5 years’ experience in wholesale or international sales within fashion or luxury.

You may already be working as an Area Manager, or be a strong Wholesale Executive ready to take on greater market responsibility.

You will ideally bring:

- Strong commercial instincts and a genuine interest in developing business.
- Confidence in building relationships with international buyers and retailers.
- A proactive, organised and results-oriented approach.
- The ability to combine commercial thinking with attention to operational detail.
- A collaborative and hands-on attitude, particularly during selling campaigns.
- Good analytical and Excel skills.
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Development
