ABOUT THE ROLE

J.K. Place Capri is seeking a passionate, attentive, and service-oriented Pool Attendant to join its Food & Beverage and Guest Experience team.

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager and Pool Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience within the pool area by delivering attentive, personalized, and discreet service in line with J.K. Place luxury standards. The Pool Attendant plays a key role in maintaining the presentation, comfort, and atmosphere of the pool environment while anticipating guest needs and creating memorable moments throughout their stay.

The ideal candidate possesses a genuine passion for hospitality, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach to guest service, consistently demonstrating warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcome guests to the pool area in a warm, professional, and personalized manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their experience.
- Prepare and maintain pool loungers, umbrellas, towels, and guest amenities in accordance with J.K. Place standards.
- Ensure the pool area remains clean, organized, and impeccably presented at all times.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and provide personalized assistance and recommendations whenever appropriate.
- Support Food & Beverage service within the pool area by assisting with the delivery of food, beverages, and special guest requests.




- Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel facilities, services, daily activities, and menus to confidently assist guests.
- Monitor guest comfort and promptly address requests, concerns, or service opportunities in a professional and discreet manner.
- Coordinate closely with the Restaurant, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in monitoring pool supplies and guest amenities, reporting replenishment needs when necessary.
- Ensure all pool equipment and guest amenities are properly arranged, maintained, and stored.
- Support the supervision of service operations within the Pool area, ensuring guest safety, service standards, and overall presentation are maintained at all times.
- Monitor the daily condition of swimming pool facilities, ensuring water quality standards are consistently met in accordance with local regulations and company procedures.
- Perform and record routine water quality checks, including monitoring and maintaining proper chemical balance levels such as pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and other required parameters.
- Possess a working knowledge of pool filtration, circulation, dosing, and water treatment systems, promptly reporting any irregularities or maintenance requirements to the appropriate departments.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of pool equipment and associated facilities.
