OverviewIn this role you drive pursuit strategies for Emerson's European Measurement Solutions, focusing on greenfield and complex multi-year projects.
You work with cross-functional teams to shape winning value propositions and coordinate stakeholders from end users to contractors.
You will lead pursuit activities from early engagement through negotiations, aiming to differentiate Emerson and secure strategic opportunities.
This position offers exposure to diverse industries and a chance to scale project pursuit excellence across Europe, with travel as needed.
ResponsabilitàIdentify and qualify strategic project opportunities and maintain an accurate funnel for forecasting
Develop and execute winning pursuit strategies for large, complex, potentially multi-year projects
Lead cross-functional pursuit teams with clear roles and decision points
Understand customer value drivers and competitive landscape to strengthen Emerson's position
Create compelling project value propositions and engage executive sponsors and technical specialists
Coordinate with PMO and other functions to develop competitive proposals and bid strategies
Develop pricing, negotiate terms, and identify additional sales opportunities post-purchase
Coach sales teams and share best practices to improve outcomes




Requisiti fondamentaliProven success in consultative sales, strategic business development, or project pursuit in process/industrial/engineering environment
Ability to identify and build new customer relationships and strengthen partnerships
Experience coordinating opportunities with multiple stakeholders and decision points
Understanding of major industrial project progression from concept to execution
Working knowledge of operating models of end users and EPC contractors
Ability to influence across functions without direct authority
Strong communication and presentation skills for technical, commercial, and executive audiences
Commercial judgment in pricing, contracting, risk, and value creation
Ability to navigate ambiguity and complex stakeholder environments
Professional fluency in English
Technical degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel across Europe, *% of time
