Overview

In this role, you support the bid and proposal process with technical expertise and solution development. You work across Tendering, Sales, and Engineering to translate customer needs into compliant, competitive proposals for ETO projects. You will develop preliminary designs, BOMs, and documentation, while ensuring compliance and feasibility. This position combines engineering analysis with cross-functional collaboration to drive winning tenders and customer success.

Responsabilità

- Provide engineering support during the tendering process for proposals, quotations, and pre-sales activities
- Analyze customer specifications and requirements to define optimal technical solutions and identify risks or deviations
- Design preliminary configurations, sizing, BOMs to support bid preparation for ETO and customized systems
- Create or contribute to technical documentation such as descriptions, overviews, and clarifications
- Collaborate with internal engineering, product management, procurement, vendors, and project management to validate feasibility
- Support cost estimation with engineering data,



alternative solutions, and design assumptions; estimate engineering hours for order execution
- Ensure proposed solutions meet standards, customer specs, and internal guidelines
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation measures for tender reviews
- Travel up to 10% for customer meetings
- Communicate effectively with customers during face-to-face meetings to support tendering efforts

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related)
- Experience in technical support, tendering, pre-sales, or engineering roles
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to interpret technical documentation
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical content into proposals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple bids and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Autocad and MS Office Suite
