Business Development Manager, Hazardous Drug Safety
- EuropeJob Description SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support the growth of the Hazardous Drug Safety portfolio across selected European markets.
Acting as an extension of the regional marketing function in the field, you will work closely with local sales and clinical teams to identify opportunities, support implementation, and strengthen adoption within hospitals, oncology centres, and pharmacy compounding units.
This role combines commercial and clinical expertise, with a strong focus on advancing safe handling practices for hazardous drugs.
This is a field?based role with significant travel across Europe; we are open to candidates in various locations, provided they can travel easily and have convenient access to a nearby international airport.
Main responsibilities will include:Drive business development and expand the HDS portfolio in priority European markets, aligned with the regional strategyIdentify, prioritise, and progress high?potential opportunities across multiple countriesProvide on?ground support to local teams during customer evaluations, pilots, and implementation phasesCollaborate with country sales and clinical teams to ensure structured follow?up and consistent opportunity progressionShare insights and best practices across markets to enable replication of successful approachesSupport the execution of regional initiatives by translating strategy into practical, local actionsDeliver clinical training and guidance on workflow optimisation and safe handling practicesMaintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting using Salesforce and support data analysis through PowerBIAbout you:Degree in pharmacy, nursing,



or a related clinical or scientific fieldDemonstrated experience in medical technology, oncology, pharmacy, or clinical solutions, with exposure to business development in multi?country environmentsUnderstanding of the pharmacy aseptic compounding environment for drug preparation and administrationFluent in English, with at least one additional European language requiredStrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and culturesStrong sales and business development mentality, with a proven drive to build new business, open doors, and create market opportunities rather than solely managing existing accountsProficient in Salesforce, Excel, PowerBI, and virtual collaboration toolsPrimary Work LocationITA Milano
