Seeking an Enterprise Architect for 6+ months contract at Italy & Europe - Remote

Responsibilities

- Architecture Governance: Define, manage, and enforce architectural standards, principles, and governance processes across the organization.
- IT Strategy & Roadmapping: Design long-term technology roadmaps and lead high-level cloud migration assessments utilizing standard frameworks (e.G., AWS 6Rs).
- Application Portfolio Management: Rationalize the enterprise application landscape using structured methodologies such as Gartner’s TIME framework.
- Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Alignment: Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, resolving strategic conflicts by balancing IT and business priorities, and ensuring a unified architectural vision across data, infrastructure, and security teams.

Required Skills

- EA Frameworks: Mastery of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF (ADM phases and the Enterprise Continuum), to balance reusable assets with tailored solutions.




- Technology & Data Architecture: Ability to maintain a holistic view of the technology portfolio while setting strong Data Architecture principles, including metadata, master data, data ownership, and IT inventory management.
- Business Architecture: Proven experience in business capability mapping using industry-specific frameworks (e.G., BIAN) and process modeling through BPMN.

Nice to Have

- Financial Management (TBM): Knowledge of Technology Business Management (TBM) practices and experience using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to optimize strategic design, drive consolidation, and ensure cost transparency.
- EA Team Building: Proven experience in building and scaling an Enterprise Architecture team and its governance processes from the ground up.
- Enterprise Architecture Tools: Experience with and understanding of LeanIX.
