Overview

In this role you will lead validation activities for Hitachi Rail’s vehicles, ensuring testing aligns with engineering, homologation, and company standards. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, manufacturing, RAMS, and Safety teams to deliver validated reports and on-time vehicle handover to customers. The position operates in a global, fast-paced environment with international travel and occasional night shifts. This is an opportunity to shape validation processes and impact vehicle quality and compliance.

Responsabilità

- Define Routine and Type Test Procedures, Test Plan, and Test program; manage validation activities on vehicles
- Interface with Design Engineering, manufacturing, RAMS and Safety teams




- Deliver Validation reports and ensure vehicles meet customer requirements and project schedule

Requisiti fondamentali

- Experience in railway industries and/or testing activities
- Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement systems (preferred)
- Willingness to work in an international environment and travel worldwide
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Pack Office
- Knowledge of Cycle V models
- Availability to travel worldwide and work night shifts
