TheEMEAProcurementDirectorownstheEMEAsourcingstrategyandleadsthecentralprocurementfunction.Theroledefinescategoryprioritiesacrossend-marketsandmaterialtypes,governsstrategicsupplierrelationshipsatEMEAlevel,andensuresalignmentwiththeCSCOEMEAoncost,supplysecurityandsustainabilityobjectives.TheroleisaccountablefortheoverallperformanceoftheSourcingfunction.

The position holds dual accountability, leading both Category Managers (end-market and commercial angle) and Sourcing Managers (material/product optimization).



It influences all central supplier decisions and provides direction to Regional Supply Chain Directors on local sourcing alignment.

KeyAccountabilities:

1.ProcurementStrategy&Governance;

- Define,ownanddeploytheEMEAsourcingstrategy,alignedwiththeCSCOEMEAagendaandcompany-wideobjectives.
- Setcategoryprioritiesacrossend-marketsandmaterialtypes,ensuringconsistencybetweencategoryandsourcingroadmaps.
- Establishprocurementgovernance,policiesanddecisionrightsacrosscentralandregionalteams,includingtheSupplierMatrix.
- ProvidedirectiontoRegionalSupplyChainDirectorstoensureconsistentimplementationofcentrallydefinedsourcingstrategies.

2.TeamLeadership&Organization;

- Leadthecentralprocurementorganization:CategoryManagers,SourcingManagers,SeniorBuyersandBuyers.
- Ensureclearroledefinitionandeffectivecollaborationbetweencategory(end-market)andsourcing(material/product)roles.
- Buildcapabilities,successionandcareerpathsinlinewiththeSupplyChainCareerLadder.
- Setobjectives,monitorperformanceanddriveahigh-performance,accountableculture.

3.StrategicSupplierRelationshipManagement

- GovernstrategicandcorporatesupplierrelationshipsatEMEAlevelandactasseniorescalationpoint.
- Sponsorsuppliersegmentation,performancemanagement(KPIs,scorecards,businessreviews)andsupplierdevelopmentprograms.




- Leadorsponsorthemostcriticalnegotiations,includingframeworkagreements,priceincreasesandlong-termcontracts.

4.Cost&PerformanceManagement;

- OwntheEMEAprocurementsavingstargetsandreportresultstotheCSCOandexecutiveforums.
- Drivecostsavingsandmarginimprovementthroughstrategicsourcing,negotiation,valueengineeringandtotalcostofownership(TCO)optimization.
- DefineandtrackprocurementKPIs,includingsavings,supplierperformance,supplyriskandprocesscompliance.
- PartnerwithFinanceoncosttracking,budgetandsavingsmeasurementalignment.

5.SupplySecurity,Risk&Sustainability;

- EnsuresupplycontinuityacrossEMEAthroughriskmapping,dual/multi-sourcingandcontingencyplans.
- Manageriskrelatedtosupply,contracts,rawmaterialsandgeopoliticalexposure.
- Embedsustainability,ethicalsourcingandregulatoryrequirementsintosupplierselectionandcategorystrategies.
