THE ROLE

We are looking for an SAP SD Process Lead to join our IT function and play a key role in the evolution and management of the Group's SAP landscape.

Reporting to the relevant IT management, the successful candidate will act as the functional reference for Sales and Distribution processes across the Group's Italian operations, the United States and international commercial subsidiaries.

The role will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness, integration and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process within SAP S/4HANA, working closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams and external technology partners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Lead the management and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process, covering customer and material master data, quotations, sales orders, deliveries, shipments, billing and credit notes.
- Oversee intercompany processes between headquarters, manufacturing sites and commercial subsidiaries, including stock transfers, intercompany billing, transfer pricing and integration with non-SAP systems.
- Ensure the correct integration of SAP SD with other key modules, including MM, PP, LE, WM/EWM, FI and CO, supporting the consistency of operational and financial flows.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and coordinating the implementation of system enhancements, reports, forms and interfaces (IDoc, EDI and API).
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation projects,



upgrades and international rollouts, supporting all relevant phases, from fit-gap analysis and functional design through testing, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
- Coordinate external SAP consultants and technology partners, ensuring effective delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Provide second- and third-level functional support, troubleshoot complex issues and drive the resolution of critical process and system incidents.
- Support and train key users across the Group, promoting knowledge sharing, process standardization and the adoption of best practices.
- Maintain functional documentation, process maps and configuration records, ensuring appropriate governance and knowledge continuity.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 3–6 years of experience in SAP SD functional consulting, application management or business process management, preferably within an international manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD and SAP S/4HANA Sales processes and configuration, including Business Partner, pricing, sales orders, deliveries, billing and credit/debit processes.
- Solid understanding of the Order-to-Cash cycle and integration between SAP SD and MM, FI and LE. Knowledge of integration with PP, WM/EWM and CO is considered a plus.
- Previous experience in managing intercompany, multi-company or multi-country processes, preferably within structured international organizations.
- Participation in at least one SAP SD implementation or rollout project, with direct involvement through go-live.




- Ability to collect business requirements, prepare functional specifications and coordinate system developments, enhancements, reports, forms and interfaces.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of Italian e-invoicing regulations, VAT and Intrastat requirements. Familiarity with US sales tax and solutions such as Vertex or Avalara will be considered a plus.
- Familiarity with Advanced ATP, Fiori Sales applications, FSCM Credit Management, SAP TM, EWM, SAP CRM or SAP Customer Experience represents an additional advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive approach, ownership and the ability to manage priorities independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with different business functions, stakeholders and international teams.
- Fluent Italian and good professional command of English.
- Availability for occasional international business trips.
- A degree in Engineering, Economics, Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
