Overview

Join KPMG as part of the Enterprise Platform Team to drive SAP FI implementations for the public sector, focusing on expenditure cycle processes and public sector accounting in SAP. You will lead workshops, design to-be processes, configure FI AP, and coordinate integrations and data migrations, enabling successful go-lives and post-launch stabilization. This role blends technical SAP expertise with cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, international environment. You will help shape finance processes for public entities and gain exposure to regulatory considerations and system integrations.

Responsabilità

- Lead requirements gathering workshops on the expenditure cycle with key users and IT contacts
- Design the to-be model for expenditure processes from commitment to payment, aligned with public sector accounting and regulatory constraints
- Configure SAP FI AP and integrations with Funds Management




- Define integrations with external systems for electronic invoicing and payments
- Prepare functional documentation and specifications for developments
- Plan and execute testing, oversee cutover, go-live and post go-live stabilization
- Manage data migration for vendor master data and open items with reconciliations

Requisiti fondamentali

- Solid experience as an SAP FI consultant on implementation projects with a focus on the expenditure cycle
- In-depth knowledge of FI AP from vendor master data to invoice posting, automatic payments and reconciliation of open items
- Ability to independently manage activities and deliverables and interface with key users, IT contacts, and project managers
- Knowledge of public sector accounting, accounting harmonisation and tax aspects such as split payment and withholding taxes (preferred)
- Experience with SAP PSM or MM and integrations with SIOPE+ and PCC (preferred)
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Good command of English and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad as project needs require
