The Impact You'll Make

As our new Backend Engineer, you’ll contribute in building the cloud platform core services that power Danfoss’ IoT solutions — from connecting devices and processing telemetry to supporting business‑critical workflows. You’ll build and ship features alongside senior engineers who own the architecture, and we'll invest in growing your backend and cloud expertise over the next few years.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Develop and maintain cloud-native backend services, delivering new features that continuously strengthen our Cloud Platform.
- Design and implement scalable, reliable backend solutions within an event-driven architecture.
- Collaborate with product teams and senior engineers to support the adoption and evolution of Platform Core Services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle through code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation and better development practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and help optimize their output to improve efficiency and quality across different projects.

What We're Looking For

- 2–4 years of professional experience developing cloud-native backend services, ideally in an event‑driven architecture using Kafka.
- Strong experience with Go, combined with professional experience in TypeScript (NestJS) and Python.
- Experience building scalable, reliable and production‑grade solutions, with good knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Knowledge of MQTT and Sparkplug B is a strong advantage.




- Fluent English, with the ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively and work in an international engineering environment.
