Position Title: Associate, Development Engineering, IT– m/f

Department: Development Engineering, EPC

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Engineering & Estimating, EMEA

Responsibilities

- Ensure project engineering activities, under his responsibility, comply with company guidelines and support overall the engineering team.
- Create conceptual designs for PV and BESS plants across the portfolio.
- Help project team to develop specifications to optimize PV power plant design including, but not limited to, component selection, module string sizing, layout design, collector routing design, conductor sizing, etc.
- Produce and interpret technical drawings for solar power plants and BESS on CAD software.
- Develop PV power plant and BESS corresponding single line diagrams.
- Extract quantities from existing drawings.
- Create technical presentation for the produced design.
- Carry our site land surveys and prepare site survey reports.
- Delegated to interface with all engineering departments/disciplines as required.
- Analysis of the network for a definition of the connection process in the most advantageous technical-economic formula.
- Analysis of technical connection solutions.

Requirements

- +3 years working experience in PV and BESS.
- Adequate technical knowledge of PV power plants, battery energy storage and basic electrical and control engineering concepts.
- Able to extract technical data from equipment data sheets and project documents.




- Preferably a degree level qualification associated with electrical power systems and/or electrical engineering / renewable energy engineering.
- Basic knowledge of electricity networks (structure, drawings and models) and integration of infrastructures.
- Previous experiences in Scada and PPC system is a plus.

Education & Training

- Currently working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, renewable energy).
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst and PVCase (or PVDesign). Experience with BESS software simulation tools preferred.
- Microsoft Office proficient, including high proficiency in Excel.

Languages

- Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and Italian at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
