Overview

As a Windows Systems Administrator at Leidos in Naples, you will manage mission-critical Windows server environments and enterprise services for U.S. Navy operations. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance across global Windows infrastructure while adopting new technologies. You work with cross-functional teams to maintain secure operations and address complex issues. This role offers impact at scale in a defense-focused mission with opportunities to shape resilient IT capabilities.

Responsabilità

- Administer advanced Windows Server environments and Microsoft enterprise services
- Maintain daily operations: monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve server and OS issues
- Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization
- Troubleshoot complex Windows Server issues
- Research, document, and propose new system technologies
- Review and implement IAVAs/IAVBs (Information Assurance vulnerabilities)
- Install, configure, secure, maintain, document,



and administer SQL databases
- Support global operations with secure, resilient Windows infrastructure
- Travel to support Navy commands (CONUS/OCONUS)

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's degree with 4+ or 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 2+ or 6+ years; equivalent experience considered
- Active TS/SCI clearance in DISS and program access
- Active CompTIA Security+ certification
- Active Windows Server OS certification or ability to obtain after hire
- Extensive experience administering enterprise Windows environments (AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Azure, RDS, VMware)
- Experience performing advanced system troubleshooting
