Overview In this role you manage the end-to-end subcontracting lifecycle for key equipment and subsystems, acting as the main interface with suppliers and ensuring on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery. You will coordinate with Engineering, MAIT, and Quality to resolve technical and contractual issues while leading supplier evaluations and negotiations. The position offers cross-project procurement exposure across Europe and contributes to cost reduction and risk management within space projects. Responsabilità
* Interface with subcontractors from RFQ to delivery and acceptance
* Lead full subcontracting process: RFQ, supplier selection, contract negotiation, PO, expediting
* Sourcing and identification of subcontractors
* Prepare and coordinate RFI/RFP (ESA Best Practices)
* Draft Statements of Work and data packages
* Support contract officer on programmatic parts of contracts
* Lead evaluation of subcontractors’ proposals
* Coordinate supplier activities and contract negotiations per PM guidelines
* Manage on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery of critical equipment
* Collaborate with Engineering, MAIT, and Quality to resolve issues
* Identify cost reduction and improvement opportunities
* Identify and manage subcontractor risks
* Prepare and coordinate meetings and reviews as chair
* Coordinate procurement activities across multi-projects
* Contract change management and negotiations
* Contribute to supplier Evaluation, performance monitoring, and lessons learned Requisiti fondamentali
* Master's degree in Aerospace, Electronics, Telecommunications, Management, Mechanical or comparable
* 3–5 years’ experience in procurement, subcontracting or project supply chain in space/aerospace/defence
* Strong knowledge of contract management and negotiation
* Familiarity with ESA/ECSS and/or MIL-STD standards; Export Control regulations a plus
* Fluent in English; other European languages a plus
* Availability to travel to suppliers in Europe and abroad
