Overview In this role you will provide Tier III support and on-site SME engineering for the Naval Enterprise Network (NEN-OCONUS) within the NGEN-R SMIT program in Naples, Italy. You will coordinate with TNOSC, LNSC, and NIWC on network operations, upgrades, and expansions while ensuring incident response and root-cause analysis. You will manage OS upgrades, hardware maintenance, and deployments, contributing to the Navy's goal of unifying shore-based networks and data management. The position offers exposure to large-scale Navy IT services and cross-team collaboration with a focus on reliability and rapid problem resolution. Responsabilità
* Tier III support for TNOSC on NEN-OCONUS
* Coordinate maintenance and restoration activities with TNOSC and LNSC
* Provide technical support for NIPR/SIPR services
* OS upgrades on base systems
* Work with NIWC on new network additions
* Configure and test new additions




* Collaborate with visiting teams on expansions/upgrades
* Maintain base infrastructure (routers, switches, UPS, crypto devices)
* Maintenance tasks on NEN-OCONUS hardware (power supplies, disks, fans)
* Assist with NEN-OCONUS system refresh and deployments Requisiti fondamentali
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field with specified years of experience
* US Citizen with active DoD Secret Clearance
* DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (Security+, MCSA Server, etc.)
* CISSP Certification
