Offer Description

[...] The goal of the present project is therefore to prepare a new critical edition encompassing both one of Lucian's language-themed dialogues and the entirety of its associated scholia. The edition in question will entail a full reassessment of the manuscript tradition of the chosen text and build upon a general study of the linguistic issues connected to it, with the aim of shedding new light on Lucian's language and its reception in the scholarship of subsequent centuries.
