Offer Description

The researcher will carry out interdisciplinary research on translation processes between French and Italian in the publishing and cultural heritage contexts, combining Translation Studies and linguistic studies on the French language with gender studies,



and intercultural studies, as well as research on accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. The research will focus particularly on texts that facilitate access to live performance and cultural heritage, children’s and young adult literature addressing gender issues, and texts produced in publishing contexts. With particular regard to access to live performance and cultural heritage, the researcher will examine existing translation processes and their outcomes, as well as new strategies for accessibility in its broadest sense, including the use of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.
