Title of the project:" Identification of candidate genes for resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses and regulation of development in cereals". The postdoctoral researcher will be engaged in the development and application of advanced functional genomics and genome editing approaches for the identification of candidate genes for resistance to pathogens and abiotic stresses (eg. drought),



and the development of transformation methods. In particular, the researcher will contribute to the identification and characterization of candidate genes involved in pathogen resistance and in the regulation of inflorescence and root development through the analysis of transcriptomic data, co-expression networks, and the integration of genomic databases.
