* Design, develop, and implement firmware for industrial protection circuit breakers and communication modules
* Improve firmware development and cybersecurity processes
* Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure quality

* Collaborate with system architects and hardware/software developers to derive requirement specifications

Sc. or B.
Sc. in Information or Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable field
* Embedded C/C++ proficiency plus software engineering fundamentals
* Experience with Python for scripting and test automation
* 3–5 years of firmware development for embedded industrial applications
* Knowledge of embedded systems, MCUs, peripherals, interfaces, and RTOS preferred
* Firmware debugging and root-cause analysis using probes, scopes, logic analyzers
* Familiarity with structured development processes from analysis to documentation
* Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, IEC61850, Profibus, CAN bus) is a plus
* Knowledge of embedded cybersecurity principles; secure development practices is a plus
* Experience in Agile Scrum and a collaborative mindset; willingness to travel; English and Italian communication
