About the Company
Our client is an international environmental services company operating two industrial facilities in Italy, located in the Verona area. One facility specialises in the treatment of industrial liquid waste, using evaporation, physicochemical and biological treatment processes, as well as filter press technology. The second facility focuses on electric battery recycling. Both sites have a lean operational structure, with approximately 15 employees each, offering a hands-on role with direct exposure to plant operations and the opportunity to drive a strong safety culture. The Role Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Senior HSE Supervisor will be responsible for promoting and strengthening the Health, Safety and Environmental culture across both facilities. This is a hands-on, plant-based position with responsibility for implementing and maintaining HSE standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement across both sites.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of Health, Safety and Environmental standards, procedures and policies across both facilities.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure that HSE standards are consistently applied in day-to-day plant operations.
• Identify risks, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health,



safety and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the main point of reference for all HSE-related matters, providing guidance and support to operational teams and site management.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance, identify potential hazards and ensure that established procedures are followed.
• Work closely with the Country Manager to strengthen operational safety, environmental performance and overall risk management. Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience in a similar HSE/QHSE role within an industrial environment.
• Experience in the metalworking or manufacturing industry will be highly valued.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards, industrial risk prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead by example, implement procedures and ensure their consistent application on the shop floor.
• A practical, hands-on approach, with a strong presence on site and the ability to engage with operational teams.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel between the two facilities.
• Intermediate English is an advantage.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
