OverviewIn this role you drive all procurement activities for a satellite project within a core project team, coordinating equipment and subsystems sourcing and supplier management.
You lead tendering, contract negotiations, and Change Management, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule alignment.
You will coordinate a team of subcontract managers, visit suppliers globally, and report progress to the project management.
This position places you at the heart of delivering critical space hardware while interfacing with customers and suppliers in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
ResponsabilitàLead all procurement activities for a satellite project within the core team
Initiate, coordinate, implement and monitor procurement of equipment and subsystems
Select suitable suppliers and subcontractors via negotiation and competitive processes
Lead a team of subcontract managers and prepare tender documents (RFPs, ITTs, draft contracts)
Organize Tender Evaluation Boards and support ATPs, LOLs, and preliminary order letters




Negotiate Change Requests and manage Contract Change processes (CR/CCN)
Supervise contract compliance (quality, time, costs)
Conduct regular supplier visits and lead subcontractor progress reviews and technical meetings
Report monthly progress and status to the project manager
Requisiti fondamentaliDegree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or comparable qualifications
Several years of project management experience with focus on financial and contract management
High technical affinity to understand technical requirements
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Analytical and organizational skills with an economical mindset
