Accountant – Industrial Sector

Comes S.p.A., one of the leading industrial companies in the Taranto area and a qualified partner of international EPC contractors, is looking for an
ACCOUNTANT
to join the AFC team, reporting directly (hierarchically and functionally) to the CFO.
We are a well-established industrial company and a key reference point in Taranto for the design, construction, and management of complex plants in the energy, Oil & Gas, and infrastructure sectors.
We operate in structured and international environments, with a project-based organization that requires accuracy, expertise, and accountability.
Key responsibilities
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Accounting entries and reconciliations
Support in financial statement closing
VAT and tax compliance
Cost monitoring by project
Collaboration with the controlling function
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles
Background in industrial companies
Experience in project-based environments
Good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel




English minimum B1 level (will be assessed during the selection process)
Important note: only candidates with proven and solid accounting experience will be considered. Applications not meeting these requirements will not be taken into account.
What we offer
Fixed-term contract (initial 3 months, renewable), with potential for growth and stabilization
National Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement (CCNL) – C011 – minimum level D2 and minimal RAL *****€ to be defined based on experience
