As Deel’s DevOps Team Lead, you will guide a global team to build scalable, reliable infrastructure. You partner with developers and CloudOps to accelerate automation, CI/CD, and observability across multi-account AWS setups. You own governance, security, and cost optimization while driving incident response and disaster recovery. You’ll empower engineers with self-service tooling and maintain high delivery velocity in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You help shape Deel’s infrastructure for the future of work. Lead and mentor a global DevOps engineering team Collaborate with developers, CloudOps and automation engineers to improve efficiency, scale, reliability and observability Continuously improve CI/CD, IaC and monitoring practices Own multiple AWS environments across accounts, including governance, IAM, secrets, security and cost optimization Own reliability activities: on-call, incident response, post-mortems, SLOs,



disaster recovery and capacity planning Build self-service tooling and golden paths so engineers work independently within shared standards Identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities and implement fixes Set priorities and report to engineering leadership Requisiti fondamentali

2+ years managing DevOps/SRE/Platform teams 5+ years as a DevOps engineer Deep knowledge of AWS (multi-account, CloudFront, RDS, ElastiCache) and networking (VPC, DNS, load balancing, service mesh) Hands-on Kubernetes expertise (EKS) including cluster design, upgrades, multi-cluster ops, service mesh, Crossplane, cluster autoscalers, ingress controllers, network policies, RBAC, workload security and resource tuning) IaC experience (Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi/Crossplane) CI/CD and GitOps experience (GitHub Actions/Jenkins, ArgoCD/Flux, Helm) Scripting in Python, Node.js or Bash Database and messaging experience (PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ) Observability experience (Prometheus Stack, Coralogix/DataDog, OpenTelemetry) Security and compliance experience (SOC 2/ISO) Production uptime, DR and incident troubleshooting Clear communication and a strong sense of ownership Clear communication Strong ownership Cross-team collaboration AWS multi-account management Kubernetes (EKS) Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi/Crossplane
