It directly contributes to protecting people, assets, contractors, and business continuity, while demonstrating rigorous H&S standards to investors, lenders, and regulators.The role requires independent decision-making in risk prioritisation, incident escalation, contractor compliance, and H&S system design, operating in a context of growing organisational complexity and cross-border operations.Core responsibilities:Establish and maintain H&S reporting to the fund, including KPI frameworks and governance cadenceOwn H&S KPIs, reporting, and performance tracking across the organisationEnsure H&S responsibilities are clearly defined, understood,



and embedded across teamsReview and continuously improve the H&S policy and supporting documentation frameworkImplement and scale a management system that evolves from minimum viable to mature and fully integratedEnsure alignment with internationally recognised best practices and ISO 45001 principlesMap applicable legislation across jurisdictions and maintain a dynamic H&S risk registerEnsure compliance with Spanish, Italian, and EU legal requirementsDefine employer H&S obligations and ensure documentation and adherence (including complex setups such as coworking or remote structures)Embed H&S risk management across full project lifecyclesEstablish incident reporting, escalation protocols, and investigation processesDevelop and execute assurance frameworks, including site presence, contractor verification, and auditsBuild and manage a fully functioning assurance programme at IPP levelReview EPC and contractor H&S obligations and ensure complianceImplement robust contractor prequalification, onboarding, and performance monitoring processesOversee H&S performance across construction sites and operational assetsDefine and implement mandatory baseline H&S training requirements and maintain training recordsOwn and manage the annual H&S training calendarEnhance organisational H&S knowledge and ownership through progressive xysqume capability buildingSupport transition from externally supported H&S model to fully internalised capabilityDrive continuous improvement toward best-in-class H&S maturity and independenceEnsure H&S systems and practices scale with project pipeline and geographic expansionExperience in Health & Safety management within infrastructure, energy, construction, or industrial environmentsKnowledge of H&S regulations across Spain, Italy, and EU frameworksExperience managing H&S in multi-project, multi-country environments with contractor exposureDemonstrated ability to implement and scale H&S management systems and governance structuresExperience in risk assessment, incident management, and contractor oversightAbility to design and implement H&S policies, procedures, and reporting frameworksKnowledge of ISO 45001 or equivalent H&S management frameworksCapability to manage training programmes, records, and compliance requirements#J-18808-Ljbffr
