We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Platform Architect to support a major AI architecture initiative for a leading client in the Swiss transport & infrastructure sector.

Main Responsibilities
Develop a pragmatic, staged and implementation-oriented architecture vision
Define scope, structure AI capabilities and prioritise the most important architecture questions
Define architecture workstreams and the deployment of Platform Architects
Develop architecture concepts, principles, target pictures and decision papers
Translate the overarching architecture into organisational and technical requirements for platforms and shared services
Define governance, responsibilities and operating model for shared services
Support the creation of an implementable architecture roadmap




Document and communicate the architecture to management and technical teams Mandatory Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in IT architecture, with proven experience in AI / GenAI architectures in large organisations
At least two references as responsible for an overarching target architecture with stages and roadmap (ideally AI or data platforms)
Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, agentic systems and related risks (prompt injection, data leakage, hallucinations)
Experience with Security by Design, IAM (including non-human identities/agents), data classification and Zero Trust
Knowledge of EU AI Act, data protection and information security requirements
Experience with capability-based architecture and decisions between central, domain-specific and local models
Experience in building AI Governance (roles, processes, approvals, risk classification)
Ability to link architecture with economic aspects (business case, FinOps, TCO)
Business fluent German and good English
