OverviewIn this role you drive validation activities for railway vehicles, ensuring tests meet engineering standards and customer requirements.
You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, RAMS and safety teams to deliver robust validation reports.
The position combines office work with on-board testing across metro, tram and train systems, in a dynamic, international environment.
You'll contribute to timely vehicle qualification and project execution, aligning with Hitachi Rail's innovation-focused mission.
ResponsabilitàDefine and manage routine and type test procedures, test plans, and validation programs for vehicles
Lead validation activities in line with engineering, homologation, and company processes and standards
Interface with Design Engineering, manufacturing, RAMS and Safety teams




Deliver validation reports and ensure vehicles meet customer requirements and project schedules
Requisiti fondamentaliExperience in railway industries and/or testing activities
Knowledge of instrumentation and measurement systems (preferred)
Willingness to work in an international environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and MS Office
Knowledge of Cycle V / V-model
Ability to travel worldwide and work night shifts
