Position Objective

Lead and oversee the integrated planning of The Palace Company's real estate projects in Europe, ensuring that master programmes, schedules, resource plans, and permitting milestones are validated, consolidated, and consistently updated. Drive efficient and controlled project delivery, aligned with the strategic objectives of the Real Estate division and the company's luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage the master programme for each project, integrating pre-construction, permitting, design, procurement, construction, and pre-opening stages.
- Review, challenge, validate, and monitor schedules and resource plans prepared by external providers, consultants, design teams, construction managers, and contractors.
- Integrate permitting, licensing, and local authority approval processes into the project critical path.
- Coordinate with Project Directors to consolidate technical, financial, and logistical planning information.
- Monitor physical and financial progress, preparing executive reports and dashboards for management.
- Identify, assess, and quantify schedule and cost risks, proposing corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
- Plan and monitor long-lead procurement items and site logistics, taking into account the constraints of urban locations.
- Implement and oversee corporate planning platforms, tools, templates, and methodologies, ensuring alignment between Europe and the Americas.
- Participate in project committees and progress presentations to General Management and European leadership.
- Ensure traceability, consistency, and standardization of planning information across all European projects.
- Participate in the review of tender and contracting programmes, including contractual schedule requirements and delay assessments.

- Promote continuous improvement in planning processes, documenting lessons learned and sharing best practices across Europe and the Americas.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Master's degree or postgraduate studies in Project Management, Strategic Planning, Architectural Restoration, or related disciplines are desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project planning and control, preferably 10 years, covering the design, engineering, procurement, and construction stages.
- At least 3 years of experience leading planning activities for luxury hospitality projects or complex urban developments.
- Proven experience in the refurbishment, renovation, or conversion of existing buildings, including phased construction and heritage-related constraints, where applicable.
