Overview

In this Technical Management role, you will steer engineering activity for a country/entity, ensuring delivery against quality criteria and aligning with product strategy. You’ll lead technical strategy, deploy design authority structures, and drive R&D; governance and budget execution. You’ll work with cross-functional teams across international sites, shaping objectives and ensuring robust risk and opportunity management. This is a strategic, leadership-focused position within a global space business.

Responsabilità

- Ensure country/entity engineering teams meet quality and acceptance criteria
- Nominate and oversee Design Authorities for products and projects
- Align engineering activities with the GBU product strategy
- Ensure engineering rules, tools, processes and best practices are followed
- Manage entity research budget and conduct studies per Group R&T; governance
- Deploy the Intellectual Property Rights strategy within the country/entity




- Define technical strategy for the GBU and product road-map investments
- Implement and supervise the Design Authorities organization and its efficiency
- Be the ultimate Design Authority of the GBU
- Participate in defining the Group R&D; strategy and deploy the experts initiative

Requisiti fondamentali

- M.Sc. or PhD in a STEM discipline
- 10+ years in a hi-tech industrial entity, preferably optical/quantum systems
- Team-oriented with collaborative approach and cross-cultural openness
- Effective communication skills
- Versatility and flexibility
- Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
- Permanent contract available
- Experience 15-20 years
- CCNL Met/Ind A1 Category
