About the Opportunity

Recruit121 is recruiting on a confidential basis for a global manufacturer undertaking a major SAP S/4HANA transformation, replacing a landscape of legacy ERP systems across its international business units.

As part of this programme, a new, centrally managed global Master Data competence team is being built to own master data quality and governance across the group going forward.

This is a genuine centre-of-excellence role rather than a single-site support position: you will work across business units at different stages of the S/4HANA journey, supporting those already live while preparing master data for those still to migrate.

A legacy AS400 system remains in use by one business unit until it transitions onto SAP, and some exposure to this will form part of the role in the interim.

Key Responsibilities

- Business-as-usual master data support: creating and maintaining master data (business partners, materials, bills of material and routings) for business units already live on S/4HANA, within agreed service levels, and validating the impact of changes before they are executed.
- Migration support for future rollouts: mapping master data rules from legacy ERP systems to S/4HANA ahead of each business unit's go-live, and ensuring master data is complete, qualified and ready in good time to support a smooth cutover.
- Process and configuration support: contributing to Variant Configuration (VC) setup and maintenance, which sits within the Master Data team's remit - training will be provided to the right candidate.




- Continuous improvement: supporting the ongoing development of master data processes, standards and governance as the programme matures.

What You'll Bring - NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS ■ Must already be based in Hamme (Belgium) or Verona (Italy) - no relocation offered.

■ Must hold the right to work in the relevant location without sponsorship.

■ At least 3 years' hands-on SAP master data experience.

We're looking for strong master data talent from an SAP environment. You will typically have:

- A bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years' experience working within an SAP environment; exposure to S/4HANA is preferred.
- Experience with master data across business partners, materials, PP/DS, EWM settings, or bills of material - gained in a discrete manufacturing or multi-site international environment is an advantage.
- Prior involvement in an international SAP implementation or rollout project is a plus.
- Fluent English; working knowledge of Dutch, French or Italian is an advantage given the team's footprint.
- Familiarity with SAP data migration tools - Migration Cockpit, LTMOM, LSMW or mass-update apps - is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience configuring SAP S/4HANA Variant Configuration is a strong plus, though not essential.
- Working knowledge of SQL is an advantage.

About Our Client Our client is a well-established, international manufacturing group with multiple production sites across Europe. The business is mid-way through a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation programme, rolling out in phases across its business units, and is building out a permanent, centrally managed team to support master data across the group long term.
