, is seeking an experienced and visionary
Director of Stadium Development
to lead the planning, design, and delivery of major capital projects that will shape the future of football infrastructure in Sicily.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing state-of-the-art facilities and stadium enhancements that reflect the ambition of Palermo FC and CFG's wider global network of 13 football clubs.
The Role
As Director of Stadium Development, you will oversee and drive strategic infrastructure projects from concept through to delivery.
Working closely with the CEO of Palermo and CFG's Infrastructure Development leadership in the UK & Europe, you will be responsible for ensuring projects deliver best value, sustainability, and compliance while protecting the interests of both Palermo FC and CFG.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading all aspects of
stadium and infrastructure development
, including design, procurement, construction, and delivery of capital projects.
Overseeing the
enhancement of the Club's property portfolio
, from training facilities and stadium upgrades to commercial and office spaces.
Ensuring all infrastructure, utilities, and compliance requirements are
maintained to the highest standards
.
Managing project budgets, timelines, and reporting, ensuring transparency and financial control.
Building and developing a high-performing team, including consultants, contractors, and internal staff.
Driving
sustainability and innovation
, with strategies for energy use, conservation, and resource efficiency.




Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, contributing to long-term growth and operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a seasoned leader with a proven track record of delivering major construction and infrastructure projects in sport, property development, or related industries.
Essential experience and attributes include:
At least
10 years' experience
in construction project management or senior facilities management.
Strong knowledge of
design, construction, and technical services
, from small-scale to major capital projects.
Expertise in
contract management, tendering, and procurement
.
In-depth awareness of
local, state, and national regulations
relating to land, construction, and compliance.
A proven ability to manage complex budgets and deliver projects on time and within cost.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to
inspire and develop diverse teams
.
Excellent written and verbal communication in
English and Italian
.
A degree in management, engineering, or a related field.
