Agrate, Italy (Milan, Italy) – Field Service Technician for our HighTech Service Team local in Agrate Brianza (Monza).

Job Details
Field Service Technician – HighTech Service Team Local.

The role does not require frequent travel; only occasional training or project visits, 10–25% of the year. Availability for shift work is required.

General Profile
The ideal candidate has technical experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex equipment in high‑technology sectors. Installation and start‑up experience is a plus, and experience in the semiconductor industry, vacuum systems, or mechatronics is welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Apply all safety measures at all times.

Work independently using established procedures and company practices.

Install and start up industrial Applied plant at the Customer, the largest Microchip manufacturer in Agrate Brianza.

Perform all levels of preventive and corrective maintenance within specified times and procedures.

Apply diagnostic and troubleshooting strategies and procedures on Applied equipment installed at the customer, through data analysis from the machines, understanding of the production process and software.





Execute upgrades and retrofits on the equipment.

Ensure the correct procedures and checklists are used for both corrective and preventive maintenance.

Understand and correctly use technical, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.

Apply correct work methodologies and procedures in accordance with the quality standards of the company and the customer.

Anticipate and respond to equipment problems and escalations in a timely manner.

Collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in internal and client meetings for maintenance service management.

Accountable for the performance of assigned plants, setting and achieving objectives.

Keep field management informed of customer performance perceptions.

Take initiative to prevent and solve customer problems.

Occasionally initiate projects to reduce costs or increase activity time.

Can work shifts as required.
