About Us

The International School of Brindisi is the only international school (American curriculum), PreK through K-12, in the south of Italy. We're in Brindisi, a coastal city in Puglia with more history than most countries and more light than you know what to do with.

We're built on a simple idea: it takes a village. The people here teach, yes, but they also build, decide, create, and show up for each other. We're small enough that everyone matters and growing fast enough that there's real work to do.

The Role

As ISB grows, we're looking for experienced international educators and staff across all grades and subjects.

But let's be honest: we're looking for more than teachers. We want adults who lead. People with curiosity, who embrace life, and see work as purpose, something that gives energy, not something to get through. People who bring structure but also thrive on growth, on projects, on building something that didn't exist before.

Whoever joins us will shape a village. Live in Brindisi, the Adriatic coast, a place where life still has rhythm. And build something real alongside people who care as much as they do.

What We Ask When You Apply





Real experience in international or multicultural settings. The kind that comes from knowing what works, what doesn't, and know how to read the room and adapt.

Strong command of the craft, lesson planning, curriculum development, the ability lead projects. Pedagogy practised every day, not just referenced on a CV.

Communication that's clear, kind, and direct. With students, parents, colleagues.

A degree in education or a related field, and a recognised teaching qualification, QTS, a teaching licence, or equivalent.

And above all: the kind of person our students would remember in 20 years, for the right reasons.
