PEOITALY is looking, on behalf of an important client company operating in the industrial and energy sector, for an On-Site Project Manager to support a revamping and modification project on an existing biogas plant in the Salerno–Eboli area.

We are seeking a professional with solid site experience, able to coordinate contractors, monitor work progress, ensure quality standards, manage operational priorities, and act as the key interface between engineering and field execution.

Key responsibilities The On-Site Project Manager will act as the main point of reference on site and will work closely with the Project Director, Engineering team, contractors, and existing plant management.

Main responsibilities will include:

- Coordinating daily site activities, ensuring progress, quality, and alignment with operational priorities
- Managing and motivating contractors and multidisciplinary field teams
- Acting as the operational link between Engineering and site execution




- Ensuring clear technical communication and timely resolution of site issues
- Monitoring work progress and providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders
- Coordinating logistics, deliveries, storage, and on-site handling of materials and equipment
- Supervising interfaces between mechanical, piping, and electrical activities
- Verifying the quality of works against technical specifications, drawings, and applicable standards
- Identifying risks, delays, and deviations early, proposing effective corrective actions

Ideal profile We are looking for a professional with a strong site presence, a practical mindset, autonomy, and a solution-oriented approach.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Background as a Mechanical Engineer , Mechanical Technician, or equivalent technical profile
- At least 5 years of experience in on-site management of industrial, construction, or plant-related projects
- Experience with infrastructure works, piping, electrical installations, and multidisciplinary activities
- Previous experience in biogas, biomethane, oil & gas, water treatment, energy, or process plants, considered a strong plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, and construction plans
- Strong capability to coordinate contractors and drive work forward in a structured and effective way
- Native-level Italian or equivalent
- Good professional English, for interaction with Engineering and the Project Director
- Availability to work full-time on site in the Salerno–Eboli area
- Driving license and own vehicle
