Job Description

yhangry is hiring a private chef to cook for English-speaking guests staying in villas and holiday rentals around Lake Como this summer.

Bookings are concentrated in Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio, and Cernobbio, running July through September. Guests are predominantly affluent US, UK, and Australian travellers on longer stays who expect in-villa dining to match the setting.

Responsibilities

- Plan and prepare meals for villa guests based on agreed menus (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a combination)
- Source local, seasonal ingredients from Lake Como and the wider Lombardy region
- Design menus that feel locally rooted while catering to international dietary preferences and requirements
- Manage grocery shopping and ingredient costs
- Keep the kitchen clean and professional throughout every stay
- Be a reliable, discreet,



and professional presence in the villa

Requirements

- Must be based in or very close to Lake Como
- Proven experience as a private chef or in luxury hospitality
- Strong knowledge of Northern Italian cuisine
- Able to communicate clearly in English with guests
- Trustworthy, punctual, and professional
