Site Director – Packaging Milano

Autajon Packaging Milano, located in Vanzago (Milan), is seeking a Site Director to lead our production facility specialized in high‑quality cardboard cases for the beauty & pharma sectors. This role combines strategic leadership with day‑to‑day operational management.

Responsibilities

- Reports to the Group Co‑Director.
- Co‑develops strategic choices with the Group Co‑Director, setting operational priorities to achieve business objectives.
- Defines the company’s organizational structure.
- Collaborates with the Group HR Direction to set HR policies (training, remuneration, motivation).
- Ensures the company maintains the highest levels of technical and commercial know‑how.
- Co‑defines investment programmes with the Group Technical Direction.
- Co‑defines commercial programmes with the Group Commercial Direction.
- Responsible for the product/service portfolio, pricing policy and communication strategy.
- Defines and implements the Quality Policy, including review and revision.
- In the event of absence, the Production Manager performs related activities regarding production and adherence to quality and hygiene systems.
- Has the authority to approve changes.

Competencies & Qualities

- Business Management.
- Reading and analysing financial data.




- Knowledge of graphic‑cartographic production processes.
- Knowledge of the company’s client and supplier portfolio.
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficiency in at least one foreign language (English or French).
- Knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Familiarity with the company’s Quality System procedures and instructions.
- Dynamic, proactive and problem‑solving attitude.
- Leadership and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent organisational and coordination abilities.
- Exceptional communication and team‑building skills.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Commitment to continuous learning and updating.

Experience

- At least 5 years in a plant director role.
- Desirable experience in the graphic‑cartographic sector.
- Academic qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
