Our mission is to help pilgrims and travelers encounter Christ through sacred art, history, and culture — walking in the footsteps of the saints who shaped the Catholic faith. We are seeking freelance Religious Tour Guides to lead Catholic pilgrimage and heritage walking tours in Assisi, one of the most beloved spiritual destinations in the world and home to Saint Francis, Saint Clare, and the newly canonized Saint Carlo Acutis. You will guide pilgrims, faith-based groups, and culturally curious visitors through Assisi’s sacred landmarks — including the Basilica of Saint Francis, Basilica of Saint Clare, San Damiano, and the Sanctuary of the Spoliation, where Saint Carlo Acutis rests. Each tour blends Catholic spirituality, Franciscan theology, and art history, helping visitors reflect on the values of humility, service, Eucharistic devotion, and joy that unite these saints. - Lead Catholic walking and day tours in Assisi, visiting key pilgrimage sites such as: - Basilica of Saint Francis
- Basilica of Saint Clare
- Sanctuary of San Damiano
- Sanctuary of the Spoliation (Saint Carlo Acutis)
- Deliver engaging commentary rooted in Catholic theology, Scripture, and Franciscan spirituality.
- Provide historical and cultural insight into Assisi’s sacred art and architecture.
- Encourage reflection, prayer, and reverent participation during visits.
- Ensure group timing, comfort, and respectful behaviour in sacred environments. **Essential Skills**
- Strong understanding of Catholic doctrine, Franciscan spirituality, and the life of Saint Carlo Acutis.
- Fluency in one or more major languages (English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Polish).
- Warm, pastoral communication style suitable for sacred contexts.
- Confidence in leading faith-based discussions and reflective moments.
- Compliance with local tour guide licence requirements (if applicable). **Desirable Qualifications**
- Degree or background in Theology, Religious Studies, or Ministry.
- Experience leading Catholic pilgrimages, retreats, or heritage tours.
